How much time to allow
Outside rush hour, allow about 30 minutes from Vaudreuil-Dorion, 20 to 30 minutes from Île Perrot and 45 to 50 minutes from Hudson or Rigaud.
On weekday mornings the highways into Montréal often slow down. Leave a margin, especially for an international flight: better to wait at the gate than in traffic.
Very early departures: the night rate
A 4:30 a.m. pickup is booked like any other. From 11 p.m. to 4:59 a.m. the meter runs the CTQ night rate: $2.35 per kilometre instead of $2.05. What counts is the time the trip starts, and the rate then stays the same all the way to the airport.
